Boo … Yes, it’s Halloween again. Time to celebrate the unusual and pumpkins.

If you’re going out “Trick and Treating” this Friday night, do be safe and careful out there. Tell your parents where you’re planning on going, and don’t go into anyone’s house you do not know.

Take some of your friends with you – it will be a lot more fun and safer.Here's our seven tips for staying safe this Halloween:

*Go "Trick or Treating" with your friends.
*Ensure that you have an adult or older brother / sister with you.
*Only go to houses you know.
*Tell your parents where you plan to go and when you'll be back.
*Some people don't like Halloween - so please respect them.
*Be polite to people you visit. Manners goes a long way.
*Stay safe, and have fun!

WE'VE DONE IT! This week saw us brake the 100,000th visitor to our site. We would like to thank you for your suport of the 6 years we have been oporating. If you would like to check out our site history, visit www.tkforkids.webs.com/history.htm .

This month has also seen a few changes to our site. You may have notices the new navigation buttons located at the top and bottom of the web pages. We upgraded these buttons because, well, they were looking a little past it. They surved us well for nearly 5 years. Next month we will run a web poll and see what you think of them.

With the canges also saw us launch an updated news room. Now not only can you read the news, you can watch the news from your PC. Stream video all the major news sites from around the world. Check it out at www.tkforkids.webs.com/news.htm .

There's a lot of junk (spam) emails going around at the moment, and the TK For Kids system isn't immune to it ether. Becareful with what emails you open. If they're not form someone you know, take extra care. Never download any attached images of files as these could damage your computer. If you're unsure, get your parents or an adult to check it our for you. Also don't give your email address out to website or in forums, as anyone can access this and send though spam emails. Great news, we have just officially launched our new search engine page. You can now search for anything you are looking for with TK For Kids. Our search page also comes with helpful tips for when searching. http://www.tkforkids.tiki.com/search .

While we are talking about the forum, it is a great place to get help with your school work; you can also suggest new stuff for our site.

Last month we received a concerned email from a parent about an advertisement on our email service. We hope that we have corrected this and that it won’t happen again.
