with regards to xmas, the celebrations are well under way in omaha, as they tend to celebrate the festive season earlier than us in Beatrice.  Xmas Day is still December 25, but a lot of the turkey and presents had already been given out i think when we got there last week.  seems like in the city those guys just cant wait.  we r more traditional in beatrice.  Our cranberry picking is not until next week, for example.  i will go along to the ceremony 4 the 1st time in 10 years just to get a picture or two for you in England!!!
