(version 11.0)]]> http://www.freewebs.com/lawonline/index.htm?blogentryid=4218323 As you can see, tonight I went ahead and made a new look to the front of the site.  I know it's been quite a while since I did that, but I've been way busy with stuff to really update it (the last one still said "Finding My Way Back Home" on it.  You can still it on the other pages since they're not really updated yet).  I know some stuff is still the same (the general formatting outline look), but that's the way it's going to stay, because I don't really have time to create new things.  Hopefully you all like it.  I was very inspired by the incredible new album that I had to make a new site to promote it. (Hopefully, some of you notice that the background image is "honey-comb"-like.  That was done on purpose to go with the new track, "The Bees" ).  Alright, here is some new news:

> The current single, "Last Call", currently sits at #25 on the country charts.  And I know it's still climbing.  Here's hoping for at least a top 15 hit! (Don't think that's asking for too much, is it?)

> There are a bunch of Call Me Crazy album reviews that I've posted on the Forums, and they're all pretty much positive.  I've even posted my own long review on there!

> On December 6, 2008, CMT will air CMT Giants: Alan Jackson, in which Lee Ann's performance with Miranda Lambert singing Alan's hit, "Gone Country", will air.  Definitely check that out!  More details here.

> Lee Ann will present at the 42nd Annual Country Music Awards on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 (she should be performing but I'm just content she'll be there)

> While browsing around Myspace.com, I came upon Dale Dodson's myspace page (he's a famous Nashville songwriter and has written with Lee Ann several times lately, along with Dean Dillon).  Anyway, remember that song I told you about that LAW mentioned on CMT Top 20 Countdown in 2006 called "Hide and Go Cheat"?  It was supposed to be on the new album that Lee Ann planned to release with "Finding My Way Back Home".  I dunno if it will be on the upcoming album or not, but all I know is that you can hear Lee Ann sing it on Dale's myspace page and it sounds INCREDIBLE.  It's a classic-sounding traditional country cheating song, lyrically like that of "There's More Where That Came From" and it sounds so good.  One of the countriest things Lee Ann has recorded lately.  All I know is that Dale must have co-written it and I'm glad he put it on there for us to hear.  Once again, you can listen to it here (go to his music player and it's the song at the bottom of the list).

Hello hello again.  LAW Online is back (kinda) for the moment because there is new news with Lee Ann (and I just felt like updating the site today!).  This site has not been updated for about a year, but there hasn't really been any significant news with Lee Ann, so I don't feel so guilty about it lol.  As always, though, you can find the latest news and updates with LAW on the message boards.  That's where I post regularly different things about Lee Ann and/or George Strait, so the Forums is the place to be.

> Lee Ann is back with a new song and has an upcoming album with a Fall 2008 release date!
- The NEW single is called "Last Call", and it's written by Erin Enderlin and Shane McAnally.  Listen to "Last Call" and get the lyrics right here!
- The upcoming album will be called Call Me Crazy and will be produced by Tony Brown (George Strait's producer) and will feature twelve tracks with four of those co-written by our own Lee Ann.  Another awesome announcement is that George Strait and Keith Urban will collaborate on the album with her.
      - Lee Ann commented:

"I'm so fired up to be back doing what I feel like I was born to do,which is making country music... The time I spent writing, looking for songs, and meeting with Tony felt so effortless and natural. One of my favorite things when making a record is working with some of the best singers and musicians in the world...it was so fun to have some of them work on this project."

- So as you can see, Vince Gill is clearly the favorite, which is awesome. Just to do it, I'll give you some facts regarding Vince and Lee Ann:
    - Lee Ann has sang background vocals on several Vince projects: on ''Kindly Keep It Country'' on his 1998's The Key album, on ''Two Hearts'' on his 2003's Next Best Thing album, and finally on his latest album project, 2006's These Days, on the song, ''If I Can Make Mississippi''.
    - Vice versa with Vince singing background on LAW's music: on''I Keep Forgetting'' and the title track to 1998's Some Things I Know.
    - I'm not sure if I left out any, but I think that's all of them. But check all those amazing songs out! Give them a listen - especially if you love traditional country slow songs. It's a wonder why there's been no duet with them yet - both incredible voices that were made for pleasing our ears.
